A: If your current web hosting provider can no longer meet the necessities of your site, or if you suffer from frequent downtime, or if you are forced to wait for hours for the client support team to respond to you, it might be a smart idea to switch your hosting provider, i.e. to migrate all the files for your web sites as well as your databases from your present provider to your future provider. At iTechArif - Technology Solutions Experts, we realize that this can often be hard and time–consuming. This is the reason why we’ll perform all that for you for free!Our knowledgeable technical team representatives will transfer your site content from your present provider to us. Our techs have got a lot of experience with website migration and can take care of everything – from a traditional WordPress–driven weblog or Joomla^™ CMS–powered web site, to a very complex, custom–made web application.

A: While we can’t give you an exact time frame, since there are many factors, including the size of the files and databases, the location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll try our best to migrate your website within 48h, and in some cases – within 24h (in case the content is not large).

A: We’ll need the login details for your current hosting provider’s Control Panel as well as the web site’s name (domain name).

To do so, we employ technical security measures to avoid the loss, the misuse, the alteration or the illegal leakage of the personal data under our control. The measures include, but are not limited to: physical, digital and managerial procedures to protect and secure the information that we assemble on the World Wide Web. When we request clients to present financial information (for example, a credit card number), this info is encrypted using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.

A: Your site will continue to work exactly like it did before with your old hosting provider. After we have completed the migration, your site will be configured to work on our hosting platform and we’ll alert you to preview it. If everything is working correctly, all you will need to do is modify the NS resource records associated with your domain name. Your website will be transferred to us with no downtime.

A: No. Apart from your login details for the Control Panel, we will not need anything. We will never get in touch with your web hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the transfer either.

A: We support all Linux–driven web hosting platforms. Fundamentally, if we can get access to your Control Panel, we will be able to migrate your site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source site management platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
